Hi all

I am sponsoring my parents visit to US.
One of my friends suggested that I have to furnish proof of residence also. (for example a bill or something like that)
I am confused, if that is necessary ... I dint see that requirement anywhere.

Another question, since I am sponsoring my parents I will have to furnish copies of my passport pages. Is it necessary to furnish my husband's also.

Let me know what do u guys think :)

Thanx

It's not required.

There are other documents, which you are going to provide, that can show your residence - bank statements, tax return, paystubs. You don't need additional document to prove your residence.

I agree with poragoru. Other documents like pay stubs, bank letter etc will prove your residence.

You don't need to send anything related to your husband. But, just to be safe, I attached a copy of our marriage certificate because all our accounts are 'joint' accounts (ex: bank accounts, tax returns etc). I also sent a copy of my husband's GC because I got GC through him (i.e. through his employer).
