Hi
I am not sure if this has been answered before. But would be grateful if somebody sheds some light over this

My mom alone is going for interview and she is working.I am the only daughter married and living in US with my husband w/o any children

1. My dad is not going to the visa interview with my mom. He has not even applied since he doesn;t want to travel and he is retired . He is helping his friend in a business but he doesn't have any documents/business card to support that. But he is there in my mom's office medical card. How do you think my mom should handle questions pertaining to my dad?

2. My mom is retiring in July 2007 she hasnot mentioned that anywhere. Should she tell that during interview?

3. In the form she has filled Who will pay for the trip : Self and daughter. In that case, how much should she show as her asset(money wise). If i ask her to change to daughter now would that be a problem?

Thanks
GV

1. This should not be any issue, it is a personal choice and wont have any any adverse effect on visa.

2. talk about it only if asked.

3. There is no official limit, but need to show amount whcih justify her trip and other cost, few lacks( INR), search in this forum for similr questions.
