Many thanks to all members who shared their experiences for all my queries.
My mom got her tourist visa at the chennai consulate on Nov 29th 2006.
My moms interview time was 9.30a.m. She was there at the consulate at 8.45a.m. She was asked to be near the gate only at 9.15a.m.
Then she finally came out at 11.30a.m.
The qns asked by the consular were -
1. Good Morning (mom)
Good Morning (VFS)
2. How are u (VFS)
Good, How abt u?(mom)
3. Whom are u going to see in US(VFS)
XXX-XXX
4. How many children do u have (VFS)
XXX-XXX
5. Where is ur husband working?(VFS)
XXX-XXX
Thats all the consular asked to my mom. And she said that the visa is granted and will be couriered in the next 72 hours :)
