Chances of getting visa for young ppl

Hi,

What are the chances of getting visitor visa for ppl of age 23 yrs or so? i have taken visa appt for my brother too along with my parents. I am aware of the fact the ppl of this age usually get refused but can we take the risk?

Also how does visa refusal on passport impact the chances of getting visa again in future?

In general it's not easy to get visitor visa for single young people. However, that does not mean that they never get visa. If the purpose is convincing and it is demonstrated in front of visa officer, he can get visa.

While applying for visa, be very specific about purpose of visit, itinerary, duration of visit, tourist places they are going to visit.

Depends on the type of visa. Future F1 could be a problem. But I don't anticipate any problem for B1 (business)/H1/L1 provided those future visa applications are legitimate.
