Can a H1B Visa holder become major shareholder of a company

Hi all, this is my first posting here. I have question, can a H1B visa holder become major share holder of a company ( more than 50%). What would be the consequences I have to face. Would it effect my Green Card processing? I would really appreciate your advices.

Yes, depends on certain other situation and conditons. A company and immigration lawer can better assess the situation and guide you.
There wont be any problem with green card processing

I just wanted to make sure, it wont effect my H1B status here and my Green card processing. Sorry for asking the same question again?
