Indian Driving License - Extremely urgent Info

Im about to travel to USA soon. Meanwhile, I got an Info that its better to have an Indian Driving license and travel to USA. Otherwise, the insurance companies will charge pay 4000 + dollars for CAR insurance whereas it is 1200 dollars incase if one has a home country driving license.

Is it true... I am a little confused about this.. Can anyone throw some light.. I will really appreciate and thank any timely help on this..

Im also going to travel on Indian Drivers license..

Yes, u better take Indian drving license or else
u will end up in a soup. Also no rental car agency
will give u car.

My US drv licene has expired 4 yrs back.

Note : Insurance company rates are high for < 25yr olds
& also no drving exp..u can mention ur Indian
driving exp eg; 5 yrs and then get a better rate.
or take just liability insurance and buy cheap car.
Go for Farmers insurance its cheap.
