in the chennai consulate online appointment in not avilable now i enter all infos in the choosing option there no appointment for theourgh year why is it like that anyone recently booked the appointment with chennai consulate pls help me

u can get the appointment in india day time yesterday only i booked the appointment in chennai consulate

this could be a very late reply...
but anyway,i want to give my input...

i am now in US,in H4 visa.
during march i was in India..

i nearly sat for 4 hours on the appointments screen on tts site,
In the beginning,it apperared its booked for the whole year,
but by repeated trying,some cancellation came,
and when i filled up all the screens,and all of a sudden
the available (date was gone,
somebody took it...

finally,at one attempt,i grabed the date...

so,give a repeated , dedicated try :)

Can you have the calendar page stay idle and does it get updated automatically or do you have to go to next month and come back to the prev month to see if there are any openings? thks

I was having the same problem. I tried repeatedly twice everyday for a week now and today I got the appointment.
