Visa fee

Hi
I have taken DD to get US consulate appointment, Chennai last month.now due to exchange rate , it camedown to 4,600.00.I have already booked appointment. Do I need to get neW DD in this regard?If so will there be any problem for my parents current appointment?

The visa application fee would be charged at the exchange rate that was applicable while scheduling the appointment (Whatever the consulate exchange rate was at the time you took the appointment). However, the DD for visa issuance fee ($50) is no longer required since the fee is eliminated for non-immigrant visas.
