D-157 - Quick question

My parents are above 60+ years. Do they need to provide the D157?

The guidance sheet from VFS says above 55+ years don't need to submit one. But I have read it in couple of discussion forums that irrespective of age we need to provide D157. confused here. any help would be appreciated.

DS 157 is needed for only for those aged between 15 and 55. I booked an appointment for my 2 years son and the link to edit DS157 was not available at all. It implies that DS157 is not needed for him.
