Last Name conflict ..Interview real soon ..Please help

My father uses his last name in the regular banking transactions. But as his metric certificate didn't have any Last Name so, in his Passport also, "Given Name" just shows his First Name. Can this mismatch of Last Name give rise to any problem during interview as he will carry bank statements etc and passport too. Can VO reject due to this mismatch? Please help as the interview is real soon. Let me know if any steps should be taken in this regard.

No, this should not be a problem, jsut use the name as per his passport in all the forms.
