Need Info about Annotation.

Hi,

I got my 10 yrs B1 Visa on Oct 31. My company, X applied for it. but my doubt is if the Visa is valid even if i change the company? I really have no knowledge abt taht, and also some of my friends mentioned that if the ANNOTATION coloumn is blank, i cant change my company. Please let me know what exactly ANNOTATION means. and also let me know if if my visa is valid even if i change the company.

You can change the company but still the visa will be valid IF the annotation column is blank. It means you can travel for any company on business.

Last year I applied for B1 even though I had a valid visa but with an annotation. The VO asked I could travel with that visa even though it had annotation.

So if your visa has no annotation do not worry. You can change companies and it will be valid.
