Hi Seniour's,

I came to USA on company A and I changed to company B.While going to india I submitted I-94 of both the companies A and B.While returning from India at the port of entry the immigration officer had marked on the back onI-94 with company 'A' and quoting its reciept number..

my question is ,will this be a problem when I go out and come back to USA.
Do i need to tell the immigration officer that I no longer work for company A and I am on company B.

your response is appreciated.

thanks
Gilfans

Its not a major issue. But you should have told to get the I94 till the exp date of company B H1. now ur stay will be legal till the company A H1 exp date. after that u need to apply for I94 ext or goout to get the H1 stamping and re-enter again.

I had a similar problem, when i reenter US from canada.

Next time when i visited US (last month), i showed the new petition to the border officer and gave a new i94 with company B's end date.
