Hi,

I am trying to make visa ready for my parents. I have few doubts, would be greatful if you can shower some lights on the below...

1) my company pays me US allowance + indian salary (paid in india). will this be okay to satisfy the visa officer. since my us allowance is part of my annual components the rest will be under the head indian salary and project incentives (credited in india).

2) Regarding producing bank statement, it is acceptable if the cash flows are shown on recent days (the cash been deposited just 1-2 weeks before the statement been taken).

3) Can they (my parents) show faxed documents (bank statement/employment letter/etc) or is it required to produce the originals.

EXPECTING SOME EARLIEST HELP.... THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Cheers,
Arun

Yes, you can show overall income, including income in India.

2) Regarding producing bank statement, it is acceptable if the cash flows are shown on recent days (the cash been deposited just 1-2 weeks before the statement been taken).

Normally, consulate officers does not look at this kind of things in good eyes, because many people who do not have enough income to sponsor visitors borrow money from friends and relatives and deposit into back account to show highter balance. That's why it is recommanded to provide atleast two consecutive month's bank statements. However, it your salary is pretty good and you are providing pay-stubs, it won't be a problem.

3) Can they (my parents) show faxed documents (bank statement/employment letter/etc) or is it required to produce the originals.

Fax copy will do.
