Hi Guys,

Got a problem. I vacated my apt and at the time of vacating, apt manager checked everything and wrote in the final review that carpet and kitchen needs cleaning. Looks fine to me. But now after 30 days i am getting a bill to pay $1100 for carpet replacement. I don't what they were talking about? I discussed with them and now they are saying there was a patch in a carpet therefore they have to change the carpet. I told them at the time of vacating nothing was there now u says there is patch, its unbelieveble. Anyway my question is how to solve this problem?
1> Do I have to pay?
2> Should i leave the matter as it is?
3> Should i file a complaint somewhere about this?

or anyother suggestion, most welcome. Also do share if you have same kind of experience
Thanks for reading.

Similar problem with me. Complain to local rent authorities, to better business guys & file a case in the small claims court.
Don't get frightened by the word court. small claims court gives decision in 1 day.
