All -

My Parents applied for a tourist visa in Mumbai consulate twice and they got rejected both times. First time they applied in September 2006 and Seconf in Oct 2006.

MY Parents have 2 sons, both in US. I have a work permit, my brother is on an H1. My father has his business. No other kids in india.

I sent all my supporting docs and my sponsership papers.

My father took all this Property docs, Tax papers, Business property papers, Bank statements.

The Officer in Mumbai Consulate didn't even look at the papers.

They started off asking these questions:

(1) What do you do?
(2) HOw many childrens? where are they? what's their status? what do they do?
(3) They just looked at my passport copy

The Officer said that you have already been REJECTED Once. The reason was "YOU DON"T HAVE A STRONG FAMILY TIE IN INDIA".

Questions:
---------------
What SHOULD We do in this case?
What more proof should be provide?
Should only one parent apply at a time?.
How many rejections are allowed before you can reapply?

My MOTHER finally also requested Officer to NOT give Visa to my Father, INSTEAD just give to me so then She can come here and visit her sons for few months.

MY Parents want to visit us and they haven't been here at all.

PLEASE ADVICE!! Appretiate all your help with this!

My MOTHER finally also requested Officer to NOT give Visa to my Father, INSTEAD just give to me so then She can come here and visit her sons for few months.

This kind of proposal is counter-productive. I wish your mother did not request so. It showed that your mother is desparate to get visa. What is the reason for your parents visit? Think logically. If it was for only tourism and social purpose, I would assume that both your parents wants to visit USA together and enjoy their time together. Then what is the basis for asking not to give visa to father? Not giving visa to your father does not help to establish "family ties in India" (the reason for denial).

In addition, without waiting, applying for visitor visa twice in two months demonstrates the desperation farther.
