I (H1-B) will be taking my wife and the kid (H4) with me to Florida, what will be the tax on the salary

Federal tax is compulsory for every one.Its around 22-33% depends on your salary.
for married there are different rates.For your kid you will be getting $500 credit per kid.

Florida there is no state tax though.

Thank u, it shows the Federal tax, and as there is no state tax in Florida will there be any more taxes e.g. Social Security, Insurance etc ?

What exactly means $500 credit for child, does it means $500 will be deducted from the total taxable amount or what ?
