confusion

Hi all,
My application receipt date is Aug 07, 2006 and thereon i received a mail a couple of days before from the US consulate stating that "This case has been approved. On October 20, 2006, an approval notice was mailed"
.
What does this mean. Will my employer receive the notice. When wil i come to know of my Visa interview date. Please let me know. I have still not contacted my employer.

call your employer after 2 weeks they will send you the necessary documents to carry for the visa interview. you need to book visa interview date by yourself by going to vfs website with hdfc challan number.

you can also book interview after getting all your papers it will delay you some more time.

hey thanx for the reply. Wil call my employer. However cn u tell me the website(the url) to book the interview date. How long wil it take if i book in a week's time. Pls help. I have no idea on that.
