who should sponsor visitor visa - me or wife?

I want to sponsor visitor visa for my inlaws. I have been in the us for 6 years and my wife for almost 3 years. She has also been working for the past year and a half, though she changed jobs and got a fresh h1 a couple of months ago. We only have a joint account.

Would it be better if i send the documents with my name, or should she send the sponsorship documents with her name?

Also, her sister is also in the us pursuing education. Should my inlaws mention this in their interview if asked? could they be asked for her information as well?

who sponsors who doesn't matter - there is NO legal requirement for tourist visas.
As to telling the truth, well, now there is a legal requirement (and an ethical one)...if somebody lies and gets caught, goodbye visa...for a long time.
What is wrong with telling the truth??:o
