Hi

My wife has a B2 visa interview in November. This we had applied some 6 months back. Meanwhile my company went ahead and processed my H1 and her H4, and our visa interviews on this 31st. Now our concerns are:
1) Can one appear for a B2 after getting H4?
2) Do we have to cancel her B2 application before appearing for H4 visa interview?
3) After getting her H4, if my wife appears for a B2, will it lead to revoking of her already granted H4?

As these are for two different purposes of travel, we thought we can go ahead but we are also worried about the whole thing. Any responses or sharing of similar experiences will come exteremely handy for us. As we dont have much time, will appreciate a response ASAP.

Thanks
Srinivas

As per the general rule, at one point of time you can not hold 2 different visa for USA.
So , when you for the next type of visa, any previous visa will be cancelled by the consulate. You may confirm this by calling the consulate.

You will have to cancel B2 interview. Just get H4 done.

Can't have two visas at same time.

You can have H1 and H4....but not H4 and B2.
