Hi Jaya/Murali,

My parents 2nd attempt at mumbai consulate was rejected.
This time all questions were answered confidently and correctly.
The I-134 too was seen everything seemed fine...

Only at the end she said that since both children (sponsor brother on h1 and I am on L1) are in US according to the policy she cannot issue the visa...
though i am returning next month to india and my parents showed my itenarary she said since right now working in US i cannot give..and said sorry...

this time she didnt give any 214b which was given during first rejection...

I guess only solution is now schedule the 3rd attempt after i am back in india and try our luck again.

Any advice?
Thanks.

Sandhya,

Sorry for the second rejection. Ask them to follow the same tips and steps that they have followed for this attempt.. This visa thing is really not within our hands.. Sorry for the pain..

I would check with Jobosale -- he seems to know everything about the process.
However, whether you are in India or not won't make any difference to the visa decision....you visiting the country won't relieve your parents of convincing the Vo that they will leave the US after a visit and not work as babysitters....
And, as you pointed out, contrary to many other 'expert' opinions, the I 134 (one of those sought after amazing documents) didn't produce a visa....I wonder why not....
