Recently my father in law got a receipt number from HDFC and later we ended up renewing the passport. He called up consulate help line number and explained them about change in passport number. they said, with in 48 hours we should be able to proceed to book an appointment. we have been trying last one week, still no use.
while booking an appointment, after entering passport details and receipt number, we get an error message saying some problem with receipt number or passport number.
my father in law called up help line 3 times so far. still no use.
any help please?
