I am on TN-Visa trying to sponser Visitor Visa for my parents

Hi,

I am a Canadian Citizen working in US (on TN-Visa) issued under NAFTA agreement which needs to be renewed each year.(My Visa is valid till June-3-2007)

I am planning to sponcer my parents to come here next year probably from March-May '07. As my visa will be due renewal by June-3-2007, is there a possibility that my sponcership will be considered valid?

"sponsorship" is highly overrated......no matter what papers you send your parents, they still have to qualify for a tourist visa based on their situation, not by your bank account or W2s.:)

Thank you for the response...my concern is that my TN-Visa will be valid till June-3-2007 while my parents might go for the visa in December'06 /Jan'07; in that case will there be any problem...as my visa will be close for renewal.

TN expiry is fine, it wont affect your parents tourist visa. The only thing you need to watch for is request for visitor visa length less than your TN expiry.
