Hi,

My wife is expecting in the month of April 07. We are planning to invite my wife's aunt here. I came to know from the procedures listed on the site that my wife's birth certificate and our marriage certificate is required for inviting my in-laws. Problem is we do not have any of them. Can we use passport as proof of date of birth and marriage certificate. My wife's passport has my name endorsed on it.

One more thing I need to clarify whether we can invite my wife's aunt? If it is possible, which I believe would be, what all kinds of problems/questions we would need to face.

Thanks & Regards,
Rupesh

yes , you/spouse can invite any of your relative.
Birth certifcate not required in this case.
for questions, read under "Vsitor Visa Stamping section" and experience sections to get an idea what type of questions being asked.
