Receipt and Appointment advise

Hello,

I am applying B2 Visa for my Inlaws and wanted and had asked somebody to take HDFC appointments. My question are
1. I have received two different receipt #'s - one for Father in law and other for Mother in law. Is this common instead of one receipt for the Family.
2. Since I have two receipt #'s - How do I make an appointment in the VFS site for them to-gether at the same date and time.

Any advise based on your exerience is highly appreciated.

I just booked date for my parents.
1. Yes they had 2 different receipts.
2. You go onto vfs site and once you are done with DS 156 and DS157 form for ftahe rin law , you will see below an option : add from same family( I dnt rem the exact statement), when u click thr u get another application whr in u can fill it for ur mother in law. And once u r done filling both 156 and 157 form. You will see continue and it will show u couple of dates and u choose as per ur conveinence. I got appt for my parenst together in this manner only.
