Birth Certificate of Sponsor

I am trying to sponsor visa for my mother and the interview date is October 31st.

In the list of documents it said that Original birth certificate of sponsor is required. I do not have a original birth certificate, will a affidivit or 10th class mark sheet work as a proof of date of birth?
