Hello,
I have 2 questions & hope someone can help.
My labor was filed 20 days short of my 6th year H1 B expiry and so my attorney is saying I have to go out of the country for 20 days. If I go out this will be my first time stamping on H1. I did not study here in US. Is it better to go to US consulate in Canada or in Chennai for my first-time h1 stamping?
My husband is on a yearly extension on H1 and we are waiting for I-140 approval.Is it OK for him to leave the country at this stage? Also, he has to get H1 stamping in Chennai.
Please advise.
