Hi Simran,

As per your earlier suggestion I am apply fo L1 only and my husband is going for H1b (extension) stamping next month. What visa should we apply for our 1 yr old son either H4 or L2 ?

Please respond urgently as we have to take the appointment now only through our respective organizations under BEP program.

all dependents should apply for dependent visa as per their father visa, so that later if u don't want to work then u only need to change the status to H4, not all of them.

but if my husband travels first and later my son goes with me - wouldnt there be any issue if I travel on L1 and son on father's dependent visa.

No, b'coz ur son needs to have visa to enter,doesn't matter whether its L2 or H4. Also u can keep a copy of his H1 approval.
