Need a clarification

Hi all
I need a clarification regarding applying for visitor visa for my husbands grandmother.She is 73 , a widow n lives with my m-i-l some times n with her another daughter.
She doesn't have any property n have some(very little ) medical conditions (like BP) .
Is that ok to apply for a visitor visa for her?

As per the books, any one can sponsor for visitor visa to anyone. Organize the papers well, prepare your grand mom well for the interview and go through other threads on this board to gain more information.
