my parents are having thir appointment by the 4th week of Sept. we have downloaded the DS 156 and DS157 forms from the wesite.my questions is do we need to submit any forms prior to the interview...?.... if any how many days prior to interview date?

pls help.

You will have to submit the docs few days prior to the appointment (I think 5 days) - ONLY in MUMBAI consulate.

If your parents are going for an appt in any other consulate, they need not submit anything in advance. They need to take all the documents with them at the time of interview.

For Chennai consulate, you don't need to send anything prior to the interview. Ask your parents to take ALL the documents to the interview.
