can i get new HDFC Receipt if current one is locked im planning to get HDFC receipt for my wife for L2 visa... she might be applying L1B visa thru her company incase if they find a project for her... my problem is im travelling this month end and i want to process her L2 visa so that incase she doesnt get L1B she can travel in next few months..

the problem is if i get a date for L2 visa and at the same time if her company asks her to go for L1B can i get a new HDFC receipt for her L1B and cancel L2 date.

due to company rules i have to process her L2 before i leave so im confused whether i can get a second HDFC receipt without using the first one or can i get a second receipt if first one is locked

When i get L2 for my wife if i declare her as house wife and if later she goes for L1B through her company will it cause a problem. The reason why i want to declare her as house wife is becoz i heard we may have to issue leave letter from her current company if we delcare she is working

You have to tell whatever is truth. u cannot fill rightnow that she's not working and after 2 weeks applying for L1 where u will say that she's working since last 2 yrs or so.
You will get L2 no matter what? just fill all the correct information. otherwise misrepresentation can cause denial.

Simran is absolutely right.
Do not give false information to the consulate in your case. The consulate has all the previous records with them of what you are telling to them.
I had a similar case as yours. In fact, my wife was working in a nuclear organisation in India last when I had gone for L1 stamping for myself and L2 for her. Many people told us not to mention her company name. We had some delays in her L2 stamping because of her organisation profile.

And today she is working in US with her H1 stamped.

All the Best!!!
