My Q?

Could anyone pls help me, I have recently attended H1 Visa Interview, the VO gave me 221 form with a reason that I need to show the evidence that I have completed my Masters degree. I am just wondering if it is ok for me to take the same 221 form with my Masters degree after a year, as I wont finish my course till then. (What would be the validity of H1B approval be, I know it is valid for 3 years, but until what time I can provide enough documentation to support my Visa)

I am not sure why you have been given 221g to show master degree ? did you fill any where in the form that you ave masters degree ?
I think your H1b approval must be with your under graduate(Bachelors) degree?
any way 221g is generally valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue, after that you need to apply again.

Thank you for the prompt reply. On the I129 Petition my employer ticked that I have Masters degree from E-commerce. When I showed my VO that I have Bachelors degree in Computers from India, he asked me to get the degree validated back in India & asked me to apply in Chennai.

I just want to clearly know if 221g is valid for 12 months & after that I need to apply for H1 again. Do I need to wait for certain period of time to re-apply H1 ? Could you please answer the above 2 Q's & I will be very thankful to you.

I will suggest, not to purse this H1B stamping. This is clear case of misrepresentation which will result in denial of H1B stamping.

Reason, at the time of H1B petition filing, ur employer ticked that u have a master degree eventhough u haven't. You haven't completed ur master degree therefore CO may issue a denial. Please be careful.
