HDFC visa issusance fee validity extension

I have paid visa issuance fee in the local hdfc branch on 12th of aug 06 with an idea of attending the interview in jan/feb 07.But because of some problems , i intend to appear for interview in jan/feb 08.

since the validity of the issauance fee stands for one year, i wish to wait till the month of july 07 or till 11th aug 07 and register my name for interview for jan/feb 08.

please advise me whether my thinking is right and can be done.

Check with HDFC people, I think it can be extended , this also works like DD i beleive DD is valid only for 6 months but if it exeeds on the last day u need to go to HDFC for extention....

i am not sure just guessing , check with HDFC people call center guys
