Legal stay time for multiple entry B1/B2 visa

I have a multiple entry B1/B2 visa which valid from Feb 2006 to Feb 2007.

I entered US on Mar 2006 and will be back to China on Sep 2006. I plan to enter US again on Dec 2006.

My question is, how long will I be able to stay in US after i enter US on Dec 2006? Will it be another 6 month? or till Feb 2007(visa expire date)? I know it would depend on the date immigration officer put on my I94 when I enter US. But not sure how long they'll allow me to stay. Anybody had simiar experience or know the answer?

It may be beyond the visa expiry, but as you know that its up to he officer.
Best case - You get 6 months from the date of entry.
Worst case- Till the date of expiry on the visa.
(You can surely request to the officer at the POE for 6 months, however must have legitimate reason to justify it) Good luck!
