Travel on business visa as tourist

Hi,

I have a ten year multiple entry business visa (B1/B2) filed by my company. Can I travel for tourism purpose using the same visa ?

you may use the visa to travel/enter into usa, however at the POE if asked the purpose of the trip it must be business related.

Hello All,

This is the same situation as my family. My parents will be travelling to the US soon. My father has a 10 yrs multiple entry Business Visa and my mom will be applying for a tourist visa.

As per your previous thread, at the POE - if they ask my dad abt the purpose of the visit - should it be Business (he might have to visit his office for a couple of days but his duration of stay in the US will be about a month).

If so, does he need to show some Invitation letter from the US branch office?
