Hi,

Advance thanks to anyone who answers my question. My mother came here ona visitors visa and when she was here in US, I had to get her admitted for one day into a hospital due to an emergency. After a week, I got bills from the hospital for almost upto $16,000. I was not able to pay that amount to the hospital and the bills were named for my mother. Will there be any problems if she tries to enter US once again. This happened 2 years ago. Anyone had any similar experience?

Thanks.

I dont think so.
However to avoide any problem now and infuture Protect yourself and her from such situation again, consider buying a suitable medical insurance for her.

hi murali,

thanks for the reply. I did have medical insurance. But as we all know, the visitors medical insurance is a screwed up system. They deny anything we claim saying it as "pre-existing" condition. Thats what happened with the insurance what we had. I am really concerned about this.
