Hi,
Let me first say that this a great forum and want to thank all those who contribute to the discussions.

I have a slight situation. Me and my wife are both GC holders. This fall, I am planning to attend school full-time MBA. My wife is planning to quit her job and join me soon in a different state. Currently we in California. We just found out that we are pregnant and want to invite parents/in-law here.

But, I am extrememly concerned about I-134. We have enough funds in the bank, cna show >50K, but none of us would have an employment letter! (I will be studying and she will be pregnant) Any suggestions how to mitigate this risk?

Second, online application has CA address and was wondering how to handle the change of address situation?

Any inputs and suggestions are welcome!

well first of all accept my congratulations on your pregnancy.

Now, coming straight to your question, you can always get some kind of letter from your business school which proves that you are attending full time school, really doesnt matter if it is from your advisor or the dean of the program.

As far as your second question is concerned, I am really not sure about that, so I am sorry.

Regarding the change of address, you can later fill the DS156 and 157 forms with updated address, so that your parents can show it during the interview time. Now you can go ahead and fill the online application with your current address. To be more on the safer side, you can get an address proof from DMV or relvent sources once you move and your parents can keep a copy of it for records.

Also make sure that here you submit AR-11 form to INS with updated address, after you move.

Thanks for the reply.

regarding address change/move; is it possible to change the online application once the interview date is booked? because if thats the case, then there is no need of address proof, since all the documents would have updated address- would that be a correct assumption?

Also, anyone heard success stories about parents getting a visa, while son a student without income and a dependent!. I am wondering if in addition to showing mine and wife's bank statements, i should ask parents to show additional (their) bank statements to convince VO about sufficient funds!

About the address change, the response was based on the assumption that you cannot do online modification to your address entry. If you can do it, then that is all needed.

You can change your or your parents' address online anytime after booking the appointment. You can't change only the key fields like passport number, dob, names of the applicants etc.
