Hello
Can somebody tell me which is the better car among the following :
1. Honda Civic (Lx/Dx/HX ? )
2. Toyota Corolla
3. Nissan Altima
4. Hundai Elentra
All V4's.
Which is better in fuel consumption , Resale and for long drives.

I have driven the
Corolla quite a bit and I think its pretty good. The Civic isn't bad
either. The only difference I felt was in the initial pickup. The civic
is slightly more noisy than the Corolla.
But overall they both are quite similar.
Good luck!
I would suggest a chevy prizm, which is the same as toyota corolla, made on the same assembly line and drive train, but a lot cheaper than toyota. For best value get the altima but if money is no problem, and you want good quality get civic.

Toyota and Honda do have powerful cars but they are expensive. All desi's
buy Corolla/Civic or Accord/Camry because they give best value for your money.
You can buy a 180 bhp Sunfire Pontiac or 130 bhp ( I am not sure about power )
Camry/Accord for $ 24000. If you try to sell them after one year, Pontiac will fetch
only 15 K max where as Camry/Accord can fetch 18-20 K.
