Visitor Visa Sponsorship

Does anyone know if we can sponsor visitor visa for relatives and if so do we need any document to prove that relationship?

You can sponsor anybody. You can sponsor your friend too...

it will be helpful if you can have some proof to show how closely you are related. for eg. photographs...
