Hi,
I don't exactly understand what do you mean by "Your employer/consultant would have provided his clients agreement/s when he filed your H1. So ask that client name and just tell them honestly that you would be working for one of their client"
I thought Im just being hired by a consultancy and because I will be marketed to the consultants customers when i travel to US on H1(After approval), so the agreements do not testify that i will get a job when I land there.
Looks like i am in deep trouble.

Are you going for stamping for the first time?
if Yes. Then you dont need a client letter.
Good luck.

Hi Mkrisa and All,
Yes I am going for stamping for the first time for H1B. But i don't understand why they won't ask for Client letter because i thought that Client letter means that the H1b worker has a real job in US and would not be on bench.
Please clarify.

You will need a letter from your employer to show proof of employment, joining date, salary to be paid, etc., etc. Speak to the legal team of the consultancy you propose to join to help you out on this.
Good luck,
Raajii :)

If the Consultancy provide me with these documents, and if the consulate asks me for which client will you be working (I am going thru a labour contractor) then I will be simply blank and they would know that i am gonna find a job when i reach states.
Please suggest.

guys....
Your employer/consultant would have provided his clients agreement/s when he filed your H1. So ask that client name and just tell them honestly that you would be working for one of their client.
Just talk to your employer and ask him to provide his client names. atleast one. and tell that name. Before telling client name just goto their website and read their company services.
Good luck
