I have an H-1 approved with COS starting from October 1st onwards. I would like to know whether it is required to register for classes in the fall semester to maintain status till September 30th or whether it is optional. I took summer off, so i can't take fall as my vacation semester. Hence, I would appreciate if you could tell me whether it is required to register for classes or whether it is optional
