Not At Fault Accident.

I was involved in an accident with a teenage girl and I am not at fault. But the other party is disputing the claim. Though she was not having license and insurace for which she indeed got tickets.
When i called a cop she was disputing the claim and indeed put the blame on me. Who is now going to decide whoes mistake was it? Will it remain disputed for ever? what will be the status of accident in my driving record at fault or not at fault?
Will this increase my insurance rate at the time of renewal?

contact ur insurance asap-, write down all the evemnts- take some pics of the area , print them and mark them up how the aacident happenned and send to ur insurance claim. I faced the same situation- most of the teenage out here are a irresponsible lot AND dont back down- file a police reprt in her name and inform dmv with all her details. Threaten to drag her to court if any of her represenattive contacts u- refuse to talk to them and talk with ur insurance company- show them that even when it was not ur fault u tried to help her.

If required meet hte insurance lawyer personally so that he/she gets a good feeling about u and they are on ur side.

AND MOST IMOPRTANT DONT' BE AFRAID- this country stands on laws and principles.

Per CA laws if the other party doesnt has insurance then ur case is more stronger but if they hire lawyer, and tries to contact u refer all ur calls to ur auto insurance lawyer.
