Accident plz help

Hi, I had an accident 3 weeks ago. A driver cut right in front of me and stopped right away. I hit his car in the rearend him. I didn't have enough time to think and it was very icy and slippery. I got his insurance and made a report to his and my insurance an hour later. His insurance is trying to get hold of him to get his side of the story but it is talking too looooooong! it has being 3 weeks. He don't call them back or answer their letters. WHat can I DO? do the insurance company have any deadline to take care of my case? :[

You wouldnt be able to do much, just sit back. If the other guy doesnt respond then the insurance will go after him and maybe you can argue with the other insurance to drop the whole matter if the cost of the other car is less than his deductible. Just ask the other company and your company to send you transcripts of your recorded statement. bets is if you havent given your stattment pin the whole thing on the other guy.
