Hi,
I already have a triband handset which supports only SIM card?Is there any service provider who supports SIM card technology in San Jose,CA.

You're lucky; T-mobile (t-mobile.com) and Cingular (cingular.com) both support SIM cards. Also, AT&T has now begun supporting SIM cards in select areas. T-Mobile would be your best bet.
