Contact numbers for Indian consulate general in houston

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of any contact numbers other than those listed on the website of houston consulate gheneral??? Please let me know if there is any other way to contact the consulate general as the phones are always engage and even if I leave a message nobody contacts. I've a visa appointment on 25th so I need to get my new passport before that.

I wish I could help you. I am American, and all of my Indian visas, I have gotten from Houston Consulate. I have tried calling there at times, and I just had to keep redialing. I think they must take the phones off the hook at times, as they only take most applications until noon, and it is usually not supposed to be busy this time of year, according to them. Once I even called the Consulate in Washington DC, but they could not help me with any new numbers. I know its frustrating.
