NTSC Camcorder

I am planning to buy a camcorder.
I have heard that in India, now a days all new TV's are Multisystem TV(Is it true?).
So does that mean that even if I buy a NTSC system camcorder from Circuit city, it can play in Indian TV.

Has anyone tried playing NTSC camcoders in new Indian Tv's ? Please share your experience.

Yes thats true!
Most of the brand TV in India has the ability to payback NTSC videos.
I tried it myself i have NTSC camcoder and it plays with my 2 yrs old TV in india..u may want to switch your TV payback to NTSC OR it should be happening automatically depends on your TV...
