Additional Administrative Processing for L1 Blanket Visa Type

Hi All,

I had my interview at the Chennai consulate on the 18th. of May and was given a blue pamphlet saying additional administrative processing is required.

From some threads that have been going on on this website, I see that it takes around a period of 6 weeks for the consulate to get back to the individual. It's been more than 7 weeks since I had my interview, but I have not received any communication from the consulate.

If anyone has been through a similar experience before and would like to share the experience, I would appreciate it. Any other information regarding the maximum amount of time that such a case may take would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Looks like it takes more than 3 months, even I have been waiting for it since May 10th. And the person they are suppose to verify with (Client Manager) itself did not get any kind of call from VISA people.
So you will have to wait for it, no other go..

So, the consulate will not be contacting the applicant, is it? Or, will they be contacting both the client manager and the applicant?
