Visitor visa for my parents

Hi there,
I am residing in the US and am sponsoring my parents' visit to US. Their interview is in a couple of weeks. My sister is in India and she is married. Would it be necessery for my parents to carry a proof that she is in India. What sort of proof would work other than her passport or the passport is the only proof?

There is no hard and fast rule to carry such proof, just telling that X person is India itself should work.
More then any thing else interview is the key, so prepare them well for interview.
