Hi,
I plan to buy a camcorder. Can you suggest some place(s) [website and/or real stores] where I can find the latest models.
When I visited Circuit City yesterday I found many models they have are on sale but are "Discontinued Models". Is it better to wait a bit or can I find some newer models somewhere?

It depends on what model/brand you are looking for. Is it a mini DV one you are looking for? If so, Sony's TRV series are great.
You can purchase it at JANDR.COM. Very reputed online store. Other good online merchants are onecall.com, bhphoto.com. The best prices are at JANDR. I have used them and highly recommend them. Check out bizrate.com for their ratings.

I have planned to purchase a Digital MiniDV camcorder. But here(new jersey) all the stores sell NTSC compatible camcorders. I need one which is PAL (indian TV) compatible. Can you suggest me some good shops (not online), because i don't have credit card etc.

Most of the new generation TV is India also plays the NTSC, so it should fine, if you have a TV in India which is bought in last 4-5 yrs back.
Check this with your TV model and Brand.
