Doubt in Canadian Visitor Visa Application

Hi,

In the Canadian Visitor Visa application there is a question (8) asking for current immigration status in the country from which we are applying. My 485 is pending with USCIS. So, should I fill in "Permanent Resident" or "Temporary Resident" If so, what will be the date of expiration (qn 8b) of my status?

Also, I am a homemaker. What proof do I need to show for financial support? Can I show a bank statement in my name and also show the same for my parents who will be travelling with me?

Unless your 485 is approevd you are not permenent residence. The answer can be AOS ( Adjustment of status).
Yes you can show the bank statement.
