H1 Transfer- Can any one Suggest on this

Hi,
I came USA first time in May, 2004 on H1B from company A and there it self I applied for H1 Transfer to company B on 12August, 2004. I got EAC receipt No on 12August,04 itself.

But I came back India on 18th Sep, 2004 (This time I was still with comapny A). The Notice date on the approved tranferred petetion (I-797) is 19th Sep, 2004 (Validity of the Transferred Petetion is from 12Aug,04 to 11Aug, 07). Company B send my approved petetion (I-797) through courier to India.

I again visted USA in Oct, 2005 from company A and returned back to India in Jan, 2006. In this regard Can I come USA to work for company B, without a new visa stamp(Company A Visa valid till Dec, 2006)and is there any rule saying that during the transfer period (means till the notice date), the candidate should stay in USA?

Please clarify me on this...I would appreciate your help in advance.

Because you have valid visa dates you can travel .
But you have to answer immigration officer on port of entry ,about 2 things :
1.who is your employeer ?
2.Why you were out for a long period?
may need explaination from company ,otherwise just return from airport back to India.
